For a human flourishing Education

Human societies are at the dawn of profound changes. The emerging progress of Artificial Intelligence raises many questions, both legal, economic, societal and philosophical. These questions are all the more complex as they are interdependent and unprecedented in the history of Humanity. AI, whose dawning power the vast majority of human beings have only just discovered, is not a technology like those that preceded it on the timelines of industrial revolutions. Its ability to learn by itself and to make decisions by itself makes it a system quite apart on the long list of human inventions.
We cannot predict precisely how quickly the next generations of intelligent systems will be deployed globally. However, we know that these new versions will be far more powerful than current systems and that their deployment will take place over the next 100 years, perhaps much sooner than we anticipate today. The combined advances in microelectronics, nanotechnologies and quantum supercomputers will most likely play a major role in this acceleration.

This is why it is essential to address now the societal questions raised by the progress in AI. Because we are at a crossroads. The decisions and actions we take individually and collectively will lead to versions of Humanity that may be very distinct from each other. Trans-humanism is no longer a fictional scenario, but other paths are also possible, such as those of a blossoming of the human being, a stage of development which will require an ethical AI, controlled and centered on the Humanity.
We can still build the path on which we wish to advance human societies. And Education has a central role to play in this construction.

Helped by key advisors, partners and contributors, Delphine Le Serre created EdHu2050 to actively contribute to this construction of the Education of tomorrow through three components of actions : (1) Design a new curriculum that will help develop the skills of tomorrow’s world (socio-emotional intelligence, critical thinking, metacognition skills, simple reasoning, complex reasoning and creativity). (2) Disseminate it through tools to as many people as possible (schools, universities, teachers, educators and parents) and support each actor in leading this change rather than undergoing it. And, finally (3) finance the construction of the schools of tomorrow.
EdHu2050 is an equity fund dedicated to Education. It is open to everyone, individuals and organizations. Anyone can join as a shareholder or donor. EdHu2050 is a lever that offers everyone the opportunity to (re)appropriate and (re)put themselves at the service of this backbone of our human societies that is Education.
EdHu2050 reflects the journey of its founder Delphine. It combines entrepreneurship, academic excellence, philanthropy, benevolence and embodies the hope that together we can create a flourishing future for Humanity.
